The Piano+1 program in Krakow Poland, has ended. Our first such program in Europe, it provided piano lessons to Ukrainian refugees for the past 18 months. Under the able leadership of the JCC and in particular, Jola Koziol, it served scores of kids who had been forced by Putin to leave Ukraine with their families. Special thanks to Elizabeth Szancer, who introduced Mark to the Krakow JCC. The piano will now be transferred to a new cultural center in Poland, continuing the P+1 mission!
