David C. Buxbaum, the great lawyer, philanthropist, diplomat, philosopher, baseball afficionado and co-founder of the foundation, passed away this May.  

Mark first met David over 10 years ago at a music concert and they quickly bonded. He and Mark formed this foundation to help needy kids through music, and he  served as a founding board member. 

To date, we have helped thousands of kids around the world, all thanks to David. In honor of his invaluable contributions the board plans to set up a special David C. Buxbaum Memorial fellowship or stipend to assist kids through art. Any contributions towards this goal are welcome.

At the core, David was a friend whose departure leaves a huge hole. However, we take a little comfort in knowing he had a long and full life and left the world a much better place.
