The Foundation was established in
1880 in Salzburg, Austria, and is dedicated to the life and work of Mozart. It
maintains the world’s largest collection of Mozart autographs, manages two
world famous concert halls and a museum, and hosts leading concerts all the
year round. The President introduced Mark to his executive staff. To his
surprise, all of the employees gathered to say hello. “I studied Mozart
since I was a kid," Mark told them, "and have always wanted to come
here. To be in the place that he lived and among people who treasure his music
is a great honor!” Later he was invited to play a little organ music in
the great Mozarteum Music Hall, and visited the little hut where Mozart
wrote 'The Magic Flute'.. The new partnership will build bridges through art
starting in Africa.
