At the invitation of the President
of the International Mozarteum, Foundation, RA Dr. Johannes Honsig-Erlenburg,
Mark was asked to play on Mozart’s piano, a rarely offered and once in a
lifetime honor. He was a little nervous, but managed to play some
Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, jazz and improvised a bit! Like a dream! The piano
is much smaller than today’s instruments, has black keys and a pedal activated
by the knee. It is housed in the Salzburg Mozart Museum, where Mozart was born.
