Itzhak Perlman, arguably the world’s greatest violinist, visited the Meilin Social Welfare Centre 2014/3/27

Taking time from a busy schedule concertizing in China, Itzhak Perlman, arguably the world’s greatest violinist, visited the Shenzhen Meilin Social Welfare Centre and gave the music troupe a master class. “It is important to treat the children with kindness, never to force them to make music,” he advised the teachers. The kids at this orphanage were greatly inspired by Mr Perlman and the pianist Rohan Dasilva to continue studying music.
